Meet the Author

Heather was born and raised in Southern California. As an avid learner, she earned her Doctorate degree in Education with a specialization in Teaching & Learning. Heather spent several years in Social Work helping foster youth and homeless veterans and enjoys writing books to help children and families through everyday struggles.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys sporting events, traveling, and hunting down VW Beetles at classic car shows. She currently lives in the Bay Area with her children, husband, and Husky, Echo.
